The Philips MCD908 Home Theater in a Box is a compact and contemporary system. This system consists of two rosewood speakers, a progressive scan 3-disc DVD changer, a home theater receiver and a built in alarm clock. This system is compatible with MP3-CD, CD, DVD, DivX, and radio tuner.

The speakers include AmbiSound, Philips’ own surround sound technology. The three-way speakers are magnetically shielded and have 5” woofers with bass reflex. The gold plated speaker connectors enable high quality signal transmission. The class “D” amplifier receives analog signals and then converts them to digital, amplifying the digital sound. The main component has HDMI output, AM/FM tuner, and built in HiFi tubes. This system is Energy Star certified power efficient.

The cabinet is quality aluminum and the speakers are real wood. The included remote has a leather back and metal front, with flat keys. The speakers are larger than most micro-systems. Make sure you have room!
