The EASYSHARE EX811 can be used for customized slideshows. It is compatible with JPEG and EXIF images, MP3 audio files, and MOV, AVI, MPEG 1, and MPEG 4 video files. Users of the digital photo frame can choose between thumbnail and auto-slideshow modes when viewing photos.
The EX811 features an LED-backlit 8-inch aSi TFT active matrix color LCD display with KODAK Light Management Film technology. It has a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:9, a brightness range of 300cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 300:1.
The digital photo frame comes with an internal memory of 128 MB which is expandable using its memory card slots that support Secure Digital (SD), Multimedia Card (MMC), Memory Stick (MS), XD-Picture Card (xD), Compact Flash (CF), and Micro Drive (MD).
The EX811 is powered by an external AV adapter. It consumes 7.54 watts when turned on and 0.45 watts when on standby mode.
Apart from built-in stereo speakers, users of the EASYSHARE EX811 can listen to audio through its Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm headphone connector. USB headphones are also supported.
The Kodak EASYSHARE EX811 is ready for use with computers that have at least 128 MB of RAM, available hard disk drive space of 200 MB, and an available USB port. It is compatible with PCs equipped with Windows XP or higher and Macs with OS X 10.3 or higher.
Other features of the EASYSHARE EX811 include direct printing using a PictBridge-enabled printer, adjustable orientation, on-frame viewing and editing options, selectable viewing hours for automatic on/off settings, and picture mail. Through the picture mail feature, users can automatically receive pictures from other KODAK Gallery members right on the frame.

Kodak thought of everything with its EasyShare EX811 digital picture frame. The 8-inch screen (measured diagonally) is very sharp, and its contrast ratio and brightness are both above average. The image quality with this frame is only about average, but the extra features more than make up for it. Read more
