The digital photo frame features an 8-inch TFT LCD screen. It has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels, a brightness range of 200 cd/m², and a contrast ratio of 500:1.
The SPF-83H comes with a built-in flash memory of 128 megabytes which can store around 400 photos. It also comes with a 5-in-1 memory card reader that supports the use of Secure Digital (SD), Multi-Media Cards (MMC), Memory Stick (MS), xD Picture Cards, and Compact Flash. Two Hi-Speed USB ports are also available so users can download photos from their computers or from a thumb drive.
The Samsung SPF-83H comes with a dual voltage power adapter (AC 110/230 volts). It consumes 12 watts of power when turned on.
The digital photo frame is compatible with all PCs equipped with Windows 2000 (SP2), Windows XP, or Windows Vista.
Other features of the Samsung SPF-83H include a clock, an on/off timer, brightness adjustment, and a 90° rotating stand for horizontal and vertical installations. It can also be used as a mini-monitor through a USB connection.
