The Bomberman series has been around for quite some time now, and in the minds of many, this explosives tactician has officially jumped the shark. The debate really ends with the fact that the original concept of Bomberman is what has and always will work best. Next generation upgrades, like the ill fated Bomberman: Act Zero, almost always fall flat, thus leaving the series with a lack of productive growth. Bomberman Land Touch! 2, on the other hand, is able to deliver a... Read more

Owners of Bomberman Land Touch might be a little bit peeved that Bomberman Land Touch! 2 has reused some of the content of the original game. If you didn't purchase the original game then this won't be an issue for you but if you did you might be a little disappointed that some mini-games have been reused and that aside from a few differences, mainly thanks to the game having a new storyline, there isn't a great deal of difference between the two games. That said... Read more

So all things considered, Bomberman Land Touch 2 is a competent package combining a new mini-game driven mode along with the classic Bomberman game. Fans of the series should be more than happy with Bomberman Land, and folks looking for some mini-game action would do well to see if any of the forty featured mini-games are their cup of tea. Take Bomberman and cross it with Mario Party and you've got Bomberman Land Touch! 2 for Nintendo's dual screen portable. Adventure Mode, the meat of this title, is shallow and easy. The player moves his bomber around the Bom Bom Kingdom, an amusement park for Bombermen, in order to play minigames against the computer to win coins and other assorted tokens to open up new areas of the park to play new minigames against the computer. Thankfully, Hudson hasn't forgotten... Read more

If you don't own the first Bomberman Land Touch!, then by all means get Bomberman Land Touch! 2. There aren't many multiplayer party collections that offer this much bang for the buck. And, hey, if you do happen to own the previous game, you should at least consider shelling out for the sequel anyway. It may be more of the same, but it's still loads of fun. You'll also find more people playing this one online, owing to the increased popularity of the Nintendo DS and its... Read more
