Final Fantasy IV is known as a turning point for the Final Fantasy series and helped to bridge the gap from above average by-the-numbers RPGs to games that told epic stories though cinematics. FF4 was a good game for its time, and with the slightly improved graphics, and added dungeon, it makes a decent play. The older style graphics restrict any real gore and violence, as well as the sexual content. The problem with the artwork can be avoided if you can find an old copy of the game for the Super Nintendo.
