Mario Party 7 is, somewhat unsurprisingly, the seventh iteration in Nintendo's hugely popular Mario Party series. Fly like an eagle All in all, Mario Party 7 is exactly the same as the other six previous iterations. A party game that is fun to play with the family on a rainy Sunday afternoon, but the party has been winding down for quite some time and I think someone forgot to tell the host. Being the resident Mushroom Kingdom cardholder, I tend to love all things Mario, but if Mario Party 7 is any indication of things to come, I may just forget to renew my membership. Read more
The first thing that I noticed about Mario Party 7 is that the graphics make everything look as though they were designed by Fisher Price. After playing the game it feels as though the gameplay was also created by Fisher Price. Hey baby, let's shake, rattle and roll. Read more
Competition is also very high when you get everyone together to play. Don't be surprised if you have some tussles and some arguing as players are always in direct competition with one another to gain stars and coins. Kids that are quick to anger aren't going to be happy when their sibling takes one of their stars AND some coins and then beats them in a mini-game all in the same turn.
