The Garmin Nuvi 760 model weighs 6.2 ounces(176 g) and has a widescreen display with maximum resolution of up to 480 x 272 pixels. Garmin Nuvi 760 uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

Garmin Nuvi 760’s widescreen display allows users to view map detail, photos and driving directions. This 4.3 inch display screen is sunlight-readable and uses touchscreen technology. It is preloaded with City Navigator NT Street maps and millions of Hotels, Restaurants, Gas Stations, ATMS, Recreation Places within the Points of Interest(POI’s) section. This model provides users with 2-D or 3-D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions which also includes exits and street names. This model also accepts Custom Point of Interest including School Zones, Safety Cameras and also allows users to set proximity alerts. The ‘Where Am I?’ feature of the Garmin Nuvi 760 allows users to see exact latitude and longitude coordinates, find closest Points of Interests. This feature automatically marks position when the vehicle is parked thus enabling users to navigate back to the vehicle on foot using Garmin as a guide. Its Route Planning feature allows users to save up to 10 routes. This model also sorts multiple destinations and provides users with efficient routes.

This model integrates Bluetooth® wireless technology and is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker for hands-free calling. Users can pair their compatible Bluetooth phones and talk hands-free through the Garmin Nuvi 760. Nuvi’s touchscreen keypad allows users to dial in numbers to make a call and a tap on the screen enables to answer the calls. It also comes with an integrated FM TMC traffic receiver that receives alerts about major traffic delays as well as road constructions on the selected destination route. This model includes many entertainment and travel tools such as MP3 Player, audio book player, JPEG picture viewer and currency.

Nuvi 760 also comes an anti-theft feature called Garmin Lock™. Nuvi 760 provides users with a SaversGuide® which provides information on nearby merchants offering discounts and enables users to customize their nüvi based on their needs.
