This is a wonderful lens. The images are extremely sharp throughout its aperture range. The maximum sharpness comes in at f/4 to f/8 but even wide open the sharpness is impressive. Color rendition is beautiful even when shooting in low, ambient lighting. This lens is wonderful lens to have in the collection and you will be more than happy with its performance. Definately one of the best Nikons out there. Read more
