Sony MSMT2G

The MSMT2G Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2) from Sony offers 2 gigabytes of flash storage for the user’s data, music, video and photos. It has been specifically designed for use with Sony Cyber-shot digital cameras as well as the Sony PlayStation Portable Handheld Entertainment System. And with an included adaptor, the MSMT2G also offers backwards compatibility with devices that use Memory Stick PRO storage.

PRO Duo Mark 2 memory sticks feature the ability to record in High Definition 1920 x 1080 pixel AVCHD. It is also compatible with the MagicGate copyright protection technology.

The Sony MSMT2G Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2) uses a 10-pin Serial Memory Stick and a 4-pin Parallel interface. It offers a minimum writing speed of 32 megabytes per second when used with Memory Stick PRO Duo and Memory Stick PRO compatible devices that have been optimized with a 4-pin parallel interface.

MSMT2G Memory Sticks, which have an operating voltage of 2.7V - 3.6V, are durable and can operate at temperatures ranging from 10.56 degrees Celcius to up to 85 degrees Celsius.

Included in the Sony MSMT2G’s standard package is a Memory Stick adaptor. Available via download is Sony’s Memory Stick File Rescue Software, which allows the user to retrieve files that have been inadvertently deleted.
