Logitech LX6 Cordless Optical Mouse

The Logitech LX6 is a wireless optical mouse with a high-definition optical engine that delivers precise control at 1000 dpi. With this movement resolution, it provides a response time of 3.2 milliseconds.

The Logitech LX6 Cordless Optical Mouse has 3 buttons including the standard right and left mouse buttons. The third is a scrolling wheel that features Logitech’s Tilt Wheel Plus Zoom technology. Through this, users can easily scroll horizontally and vertically as well as zoom in and out of photos and spreadsheets.

The mouse, which comes in a two-toned black and gray color combination, measures 2.5 x 4.5 inches (W x D) and weighs approximately 0.4 pounds. It is powered by two AA batteries that can last up to 8 months.

The LX6 features a contoured shape and it comes with soft rubber grips to make it more comfortable for users to control the mouse. In addition, it has a symmetrical, ambidextrous design making it suitable for both left and right-handed users.

The Logitech LX6 is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS 10.3.9 or later. It connects to computers via a USB receiver. Its standard package also comes with a USB to PS/2 adapter for an additional connectivity option.

Apart from the mouse adapter, the Logitech LX6 ships with the SetPoint software which allows users to change a variety of mouse settings. Through this software, users can swap functions between buttons and change settings for scrolling size, pointer speed, pointer acceleration and more.
