    If you can get over the bland aspects of this monitor--something the price tag should help you with--it's a surprise winner in every other respect. It's bright with nearly-true blacks, and excellent contrast throughout. The small size makes it a sure fit for any desk, and the small pixels switch from black to white and back without any delays.
