Question: backlight bleed through

I've read a few people have problems with backlight bleeding, is this common for this monitor?

    I just went through 2 of them, both with horrible backlight bleeding on the edges. Am in the process of exchanging the 2nd one through Samsung but am not very hopeful. Now I wish I would've just bought the display model in the store - that one looked fine!
