LG GH20NS10

The LG GH20NS10 is a Super Multi-DVDRW (R DL) / DVD-RAM drive that measures 5.7 x 6.5 x 1.6 inches (W x H x D). It is compatible for use with Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP (Home, Professional and Media Center Editions) and Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit versions).

The GH20NS10 supports DVD+R, DVD-R DL, CD-ROM, DCD+R DL, CD-RW, DVD-RW, CD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-ROM, and DVD-R media types. It also supports a number of CD formats including CD-DA (audio), Video CD, CD Text, CD-ROM, CD-I, Photo CD, CD-ROM XA, Mixed-mode CD, and CD Extra.

This Super Multi-DVDRW (R DL) / DVD-RAM drive offers a read speed of 48x for CDs and 12x for DVDs. It writes on CDs at 48x, on DVD+R and DVD-Rs at 20x, and on DVD+R DL and DVD-R DLs at 12x. It can also rewrite at speeds of 32x on CDs, 6x on DVD-RWs, 8x on DVD+RWs, and 12x on DVD-RAMs.

The LG GH20NS10 supports a number of recording modes including session-at-once, incremental recording, sequential write, track-at-once, layer jump recording (LJR), multi-session, random access write, restricted overwrite, packet writing, and disc-at-once.

The GH20NS10 has a tray-type media loader. It has a data buffer size of 2 megabytes and it features SecurDisc technology which provides data protection for both CDs and DVDs.
