Features

Persona 3’s story moves from a day-to-day basis over the course of one year that gives it an edge from typical console role-playing games (RPG). It has the turn-based affair that allows the protagonist and its comrades to exploit the weaknesses of their enemies and be awarded for it. The only controllable element in the game is the protagonist and the enemies are controlled by AI which gives players more challenges. The game allows a Social Link system that helps build good relationships with friends and love interests. With its amazing 2D character portraits and astounding 3D graphics it gives players the excitement of a lifetime.

At 29.99, Persona 3 FES packs a lot of story and gameplay on one disc. The replay value alone makes this game worth picking up, even a second time for the early adopters. The crux of this game however, is how niche the audience is. If you are turned off by the dark nature of the game or heavy amounts of level grinding (especially in The Answer) then this game probably won’t be for you. Read more

Persona 3: FES is a massively enjoyable game that can be taken in small doses. A lot of time can be spent with it, and while it may be daunting to undertake a nearly 100 hour game, the hours will seemingly fly by since the fast-paced nature of the gameplay makes it seem like you’re actually in high school, developing friendships and hitting on the babes. Atlus is a company that has no problem associating itself with some of the weirdest styles of games, most notably is the brand of games. These games in general sport demons of some nature and are extraordinarily weird. Some sported you gathering demons, some sported you turning into demons, and now you can summon demons by doing an act that is more or less suicide. Read more

Persona 3 was one of the best RPGs of 2007, and if you missed it the first time around, this is your chance to make amends. However, FES isn’t only about bringing in a new audience. In true Atlus style, the game also services hardcore fans with a... Read more

Hell, at $30 the game is a steal anyways, and definitely gives you the most bang for your buck outside of Valve's Orange Box package. Pick this one up while you can still find it, even if you've already played the hell out of Persona 3. Absolutely worth the time, and it'll hold your attention for the entire ride. Read more
