Philips DCP951/37

The Philips DCP951/37 is a portable DVD player with a 9 inch screen that also features an iPod dock and a Secure Digital/MultiMedia Card (SD/MMC) flash memory card slot. The portable device, which measures 9.3 x 7 x 1.6 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 2.4 pounds, is available in black. The DCP951/37 has a built-in lithium polymer rechargeable battery that is rated to last up to 2.5 hours of continuous DVD playback. It can also be powered externally through the included AC adapter and car power adapter. Also included in the package is an A/V cable.

The DCP951/37 features a widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) TFT active matrix LCD screen that measures 9 inches. The color screen has a resolution of 640 x 220 pixels and comes with an anti-glare coating.

The Philips DCP951/37 has a retractable docking station for iPods and is compatible with 5th generation iPods, iPod Classic, 3rd generation iPod Nano and the iPod Touch. A docked iPod can be controlled using the included 35-key remote control.

The DVD player supports the following disc media: CD, CD-R/RW, DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, VCD, SVCD, MP3-CD and Picture CD. The DCP951/37 also supports the DivX and MPEG-4 digital video standards.

In addition to video and music playback, the DCP951/37 can also be used to view slideshows of photos saved in a CD, iPod or SD/MMC flash memory cards.
