The Sony VPL-VW200 stands alone amongst Liquid Crystal on Silicone (LCoS) projectors for its price and picture. Offering the now standard HD format picture resolution of 1080P, with up to 800 ANSI lumens, the Sony VPL-VW200 provides exceptional detail and distinction to both tones and colors, while improving immensely on fine lines and more difficult grades like shadows. The Sony VPL-VW200 is ready to compete. It offers superb performance, together with an exceptional set of features. Some of these are best left off, but others can provide genuine picture improvements. It's a tough market out there, with highly worthy competitors out there selling for a fraction of the VPL-VW200's cost- even from Sony. Nevertheless, once you see this projector properly set up and configured, you may find it hard to resist. Read more

Simply put, the best PJ you can buy up to 30 grand! Just disable all the trickery including the auto iris, use it in a real black room and a 1.0 white screen no bigger than 100” and you will have the best color accuracy with no loss of sharpness and brightness. Better than JVC LCOS. If you want to spend less then 10K, go to JVC`s RS-2 but the extra 5K is worth it to get the colors this xenon lamp can give you. 1000 hours ande still the 1080p/24fps image from Blu-Ray...
