   Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic originally came to video game retailers in 2003, and it is highly touted as being the best role playing game.    Now as a Game Monkey, I am actually contractually required to nitpick about games I review (subsection 15 article VII- "Required amount of Poo Flinging"). The thing about Knights of the Old Republic is that my only gripes are nitpicking ones.    Star Wars, if all the geeky pus-faced Trekkies are to be believed, is a “wannabe joke of a franchise that should be seen as childish fantasy rather than a work of true science fiction”.
