After the success of 'Condemned: Criminal Origins', "Condemned 2: Bloodshot" had to make a deep impact. To me the game has done this and is only hindered by small aspects. The overuse of firearms in the game somewhat move the series out of the classic smash and bash gameplay. The graphics as a whole are quite impressive but are not on par with the better games of this gen; Call of Duty 4, Gears of War.There is definitely a lot of fun to be had with this game and the... That said, Condemned 2 is still a heck of an experience that should be played by any who are fans of survival horror type games. Whether you’re running for your life from an enemy you couldn’t possibly hope to defeat or slowly making your way down a corridor only to be grabbed by an enemy from above it is unlikely this is a game you will forget anytime soon. Very few games give you the impression of a world that is falling to pieces like the Condemned series does... Read more
The original came out either on the launch or a little bit after the launch of the Xbox 360. It did something original by using the first person perspective to provide a rather visceral experience by focusing the combat on melee combat. At times it was quite satisfying and in other ways the game was irritating with some of its other game mechanics. You couldn’t store ammo for weapons and you had to use certain weapons to open certain doors. is in some ways two steps... Read more
A few years ago, I watched a news report that featured a group who had put together an immersive software design (aka video game) that simulated what a person suffering from schizophrenia might experience in daily life. In the setting they created, the first-person character was hailed to by hateful whispers, flashes of disturbing imagery streaked in his vision, strange creatures that couldn’t possibly exist strolled in one door and out the other. This was done for... Read more
The original Condemned was a standout 360 launch title; a dark first person brawler with plenty of cheek-clenching moments. The atmosphere was soaked with a permanent sense of dread, and the often-hectic combat was incredibly intense. The sequel, Condemned 2: Bloodshot looks to expand on the success of the first by giving the protagonist, Ethan Thomas, some more brutal hand to hand moves and plenty more up close and personal threats to his well being. The additional... Read more
This game was... ok, but just not as fun as I thought it woyld be, BUT on the bright side, it has a godd story line, its kind of weird, the controls are kind of screwy, I really cant play it alot in front of my brother and sister because they say Fu** alot, I mean really whats up with games and the non stop cussing in them, but other than all of that it's an ok game.
