Smash Court Tennis 3 is a very unnecessary game. In a world where the Virtua Tennis and Top Spin series provide a fun and somewhat realistic interpretation of the sport, there simply isn't much room on the Xbox 360 for a PSP port as slow paced as the experience found here. BOTTOM LINE: Let this middling tennis game be a lesson to why you shouldn't port a PSP game to the Xbox 360. Read more

Namco’s Smash Court Tennis series has been around for some time, and although having a different title in other regions and at one point being called Anna Kournikova’s Tennis. The series has been a smash hit for Namco, especially as it’s cemented itself as an accessible series for beginners and a suitable challenge for vets. Well it’s 2008 and Namco has released Smash Court Tennis 3 to offer fans another slice of the action, however with Top Spin 3 and Sega... Read more

In February 2005 during the local ATP tournament in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Roger Federer and Andre Agassi took part in a publicity stunt at a nearby hotel to play an exhibition match on its helipad nearly 700 feet above ground level, which was transformed into a makeshift tennis court for this event. Smash Court Tennis 3 is infuriating, as you must use ultra-precision timing to hit the tennis ball to the lame-brained computer. Players move like they're ankle-deep in molasses, resulting in numerous missed shots. The visuals resemble the PSP version, with barely any Xbox 360-specific touch-ups. This is a shame, as there's a lot of content for hardcore tennis fans. Pro Tour more offers many events to play through, the player creation mode isn't bad and there's online... Read more

Missing the first serve but nearly delivering an ace Wimbledon may have been and gone but that doesn‘t stop Smash Court Tennis 3 from making a bold bid for the home console tennis crown. You‘ll find no Wi–style motion sensor tricks with this title; SC3 is strictly an Xbox 360 game ported from a PSP title of 2007. Now does that scream hardcore or what? No arm flappery that any post pub drunk could win – just good old fashioned honest to goodness gameplay. Or so we... Read more
