If you think resource gathering and base building is the point of an RTS, you won't like EndWar . You have reinforcements available to you, and you do have to manage a simple system of command points and unit upgrades, but you won't be racing your opponent to secure Tiberium or build mass extractors. Since it's not a resource race, you need to think very carefully, dare I say, strategically, about the way you protect and use each unit. This game is not about keeping... Read more
Once you get over the fact that playing EndWar makes you look and sound like a bit of a twat, you start to have quite a lot of geek-fuelled fun ordering your army about the battlefield, but we can't help but feel that EndWar is more proof of concept technical showcase than fully fleshed out triple-A title. The future is bright, however. Safe in the knowledge that EndWar's voice command system works, and is fun to use, we hope Ubisoft Shanghai gets the opportunity to make... Read more
The limited squad options also help keep the multiplayer skirmishes lively. Instead of constantly looking for new technology you'll be looking for inventive ways to use and upgrade the limited squads available. (Unlike many RTS titles, there are no resources to mine and technology to research; the only 'resources' you'll collect are data uplink points.) Fortunately, incapacitated units can be rescued and redeployed with experience and upgrades intact for the next battle.... Read more
EndWar gives us a wonderfully fresh look at the future of the RTS genre. The Voice Recognition System works exceptionally well with a few hiccups here and there. It takes some time to get used to executing commands, but once it is learned, battles will become easier to manage as you learn the ins and outs of the game. There are some minor problems when it comes to the overall AI of certain commands given and no local multiplayer is a little bit of a disappointment, but... Read more
by Jonathan Marx Translating real-time strategy (RTS) games to consoles used to be a very tricky prospect; mouse and keyboard-driven controls are simply the most efficient human interface devices for the genre. However, recently, a few developers have been able to make RTS controls function admirably on the current generation of consoles. Read more
Tom Clancy's EndWar is the first game ever on the Xbox 360, that lets you control the entire game by the use of a mic. This makes the game game more realistic and hands foward.Thank:ASJ07 Read more
I am quite dissapointed in this game. Completed the 'European' choice in 2 days, not even going to try the other 2 options. The game is monotonous in choice of units and objectives. If you have a few hours to waste I guess pick it up but with the good choice of games coming out I think it should be left in the cupboard. I think Tom should stick to his other style of game, "if its not broke dont try fix it"! Read more

Unleash hell, without even pressing a button. You‘ve really got to hand it to Ubisoft, when it comes to trying new things and not just following gaming trends they really go above and beyond to bring us exciting and original titles. The console scene is still pretty vacant when it comes to a decent RTS title and still way behind its older, and much wiser, brother the PC. So, maybe a decent console strategy title is all that‘s needed to break the mould and unleash... Read more
